Type 2, or adult onset diabetes is affecting more and more
Americans at a younger age, and it is directly related to lifestyle.
An habitual lack of exercise, and obesity are epidemic in this
country. Even teenagers are being diagnosed with pre diabetes
and diabetes. The good news is that you may be able to prevent
the onset of Type 2 diabetes with some relatively simple lifestyle
changes. Besides yourself, think about your children. Are they
overweight? Are they eating a balanced, healthy diet? Are they
active? These are things everyone needs to think about.
Diabetes will cause more and more serious health conditions if
left unchecked. While there are treatments for the management
of diabetes, rather than face those problems, head them off with
healthy choices, both for you and your family.
